A Good Place to be Two
Two-year-olds are curious, energetic, and eager to explore the world around them. At the same time, they are developing their independence, learning to manage big emotions, and beginning to test boundaries as they make sense of their environment. Supporting children at this important stage of development can be both rewarding and challenging.
This short course explores the unique needs and characteristics of two-year-olds, helping early years practitioners create enabling environments that support learning, development, and wellbeing. You will learn how to plan and organise spaces that encourage exploration and independence, while providing the security, consistency, and responsive interactions that young children need to thrive.
