Safer Eating for Young Children

In September 2025, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework made ‘safer eating’ a new requirement for group and school-based providers and childminders. This course considers safer eating in practice, specifically: Weaning, allergies and anaphylaxis, and choking.

Learning Outcomes

  • You will know and understand the new requirements for safer eating in the EYFS Statutory Framework
